MTN
Hospital Services Staff work closely with healthcare professionals at area hospitals,
sharing knowledge and
information about organ, tissue, and eye donation. Continuing education varies
from formal classroom seminars to one-on-one visits with physicians and
nurses needing current information regarding donation procedures. The primary
goal of our hospital services staff is to assist each hospital in
establishing
an effective process to deal with the option of
donation when a patient dies. This process is often customized
to the specific requirements of each hospital and is continually
evaluated to achieve desired outcomes.
A MTN staff member is assigned to each hospital in Kansas
and western Missouri (see service
